JAMAICAN RECORDINGS is a new label set up to distribute Authentic 1970's Jamaican reggae / dub. The period considered by most to represent Reggae's Finest decade. Dealing directly with jamaican producers, artists and recording studios we are unearthing some great lost treasures. Taking them straight from the Master Tapes, adding extensive sleeve notes, with the intention of putting together a catalogue worthy of the RESPECT the music deserves.

KINGSTON SOUNDS Label has been set up to run parallel with JAMAICAN RECORDINGS. We needed a label that could concentrate on vocal releases again from the 1970s period of Jamaican Reggae. Leaving the Dub releases to continue on Jamaican Recordings, we are excited to have come across material that we believe deserves to see the light of day.....enjoy the music!
